Now that we can only hope that Trump doesn’t accidently push the launch button when trying to send a tweet, it’s clear we need politically engaged bands more than ever. Rise Against are such a band. Stalwart defenders of animal rights, champions of the environment and supporters of the It Gets Better project, which aims to combat the high suicide rate amongst LGBT youth. The fact that you can belt out their songs at the top of your lungs is a nice bonus. Their Pukkelpop set will redefine the term 'political party'.
