Transport

How do you get to Pukkelpop?

The best way to get to Pukkelpop is by bike or public transport. The NMBS Hasselt station is the public transport hub. Pukkelpop can be reached by train via Hasselt station or Kiewit station. Kiewit station (one stop after Hasselt station) is within walking distance of the festival site (only 500m).

A regular fast bus service (shuttles) has been arranged between Hasselt station and the Pukkelpop festival site, operated by De Lijn. A Pukkelpop e-train ticket allows you free travel from any station in Belgium to Hasselt station or Kiewit station – and includes the return trip too. The special bus service between Hasselt station and the festival site is also included in your festival ticket.

Just like last year the Kempische Steenweg (the main road leading to Pukkelpop) will be closed to all motorised traffic during the festival days. Read all about it here or via this webpage (in Dutch) of the city of Hasselt.

There is a sufficient number of parking spaces in the neighbourhood of the festival site.

  • Where can I drop off or pick up my daughter/son after the festival?

We strongly advise everyone to come to the festival by bike or public transport. Thousands of people come to Pukkelpop each year, which inevitably causes traffic problems on the access roads. The best place to drop off or pick up someone is Kiewit station. Please avoid the Kiewit village centre.
