Patrick Van Veen

This is a lecture about drawing attention, flirting, synchronisation, DNA, smell tests, adultery and ovulation. But it’s also about chimpansees, gorillas, harems and eternal loyalty. This lecture is aimed at people looking for passionate love in whatever guise and form, and who are willing to abandon reason.

Patrick van Veen is a behavioural biologist who studies the behaviour of people and monkeys. In the Netherlands he frequently appears on TV shows as a behavioural scientist. He is also the chairman of the Jane Goodall Institute Global.
