As frontman Guy Garvey gleefully announced on the radio: “We play Pukkelpop!” Indeed: Elbow are back! In 2001 we lovingly adopted the Mancunians thanks to their awesome debut ‘Asleep in the Back’. We witnessed their double triumph in 2004 and 2008. And now there’s their 7 th studio album 'Little Fictions' to drool over. Garvey’s drawling, clear voice turns every song into a droning hymn. Of course you know ‘Lippy Kids’ and ‘One Day Like This’ but Elbow is so much more than these seminal tracks. Elbow is pleasant amazement and unadulterated listening pleasure.
